Professor Wesch from Kansas State University put together a video explaining hypertext.
Web 2.0 is a all about content and text. The opening of the video shows the difference between writing words and text on a piece of paper compared to all of the different things that a person can do when they use a computer. Text is everywhere, every library has countless amounts of books and magazines that are full of text from different people. Text allows people to communicate with anyone and everyone everywhere in the world. Text allows for e-mails that allow a person to send communications to people that they normally couldn't have contact with.
